Our next newborn cohort will be kicking off soon! Cohorts include 3+ months of weekly in-person meet ups + weekly Zoom sessions with expert speakers on breastfeeding, infant sleep, postpartum recovery and more! Cohorts are hyper-local with an average of 30+ Greater Petworth families. You do NOT need to live in Petworth to participate! Martha Hoffman is a former educator with over 20 years of experience and the founder of Martha Hoffman Coaching, where she helps ADHD adults, parents, and partners build practical systems that actually stick. In this session, she’ll explore mental load and invisible labor and share a concrete approach to rebalancing household responsibilities in a way that feels fair, sustainable, and reduces resentment.​

Join Peanut member and talented dance instructor Anisha Singh for this inagural series of Bollywood/Bhangra dance classes specially designed for kids ages 4-12! This 8-week class series will take place on Saturday mornings and classes will be split by age group. Registration is now FULL! Thank you for all the interest!

A Peanut family favorite, our annual Spring family portrait sessions for members will be available at noon on March 13th! This Spring, we're offering five photographers and dozens of slots available (March - June). Prices start at $75 for 10 min sessions and 5 edited photos. Locations range from Grant Circle and Lincoln's Cottage to Cherry Blossoms at the Tidal Basin and Rock Creek Park! Click here for more information.​​

April 18th, Community Clean Up

Join Petworth Peanuts & Project Petworth at a clean up of Grant Circle / Playground; and Petworth Rec Center! DPW / Petworth Peanuts are providing gloves + trash bags; plus Peanuts will supply coffee and pastries! Bring your junior helpers and join us anytime between 10a and 1pm!​

The Mother’s Day Free Market benefits over 1,000 families with access 100% free clothing, toys, and essentials for children/maternity. Powered by over 40,000(!!) community donations and 150+ volunteers, this event is one of the most impactful in Ward 4! Porch collections start April 18th - click here for info / y en español.
